The interior design project of Enoteca La Botilleria represents a small experiment in which the designer plays with a limited floor area and a tall ceiling, attempting to create the illusion of a much larger usable space through irregular furniture lines and a gradient of colors from dark to light. Tall shelves branch out and extend over the main counter, seemingly merging with the central lowered ceiling, creating spatial dynamics. This composition can also be perceived inversely—from the central motif, i.e., the lowered ceiling, the shelf-like branches extend down along the perimeter of the room, forming a ring around the main counter. The dynamic form subtly highlights the displayed products. The enoteca is organized so that the main retail space, in addition to the central counter with a register and display shelves, also includes a seating and tasting area, while the back section houses a small kitchenette and a restroom foyer. Materials were chosen to support the conceptual form of the furniture. The design is further emphasized by the contrast between light and dark tones—light oak wood patterns paired with black, which serves as a base color throughout the space. This base transitions into lighter shades as it moves away from the furniture. To reinforce the impression of a larger space, the backs of the shelves are lined with mirrors, enhancing the perceived depth. Integrated lighting in the furniture highlights both the products and interior details, contributing to a more luxurious atmosphere.
