Fimas Showroom is a modern exhibition salon for hospitality outfitting, formed through the adaptation and repurposing of an old warehouse and office space. It represents a contemporary concept: a fusion of design and business. The project brief required efficient organization of a large area for exhibiting hospitality equipment and inventory by zones, so that the wide variety of equipment could be clearly displayed and each independent element easily perceived. Fimas operates in the HoReCa sector and specializes in outfitting hotels, restaurants, and bars. Their own products served as the main guidelines in organizing and designing the company’s representative space. The showroom entrance is organized for client reception and product dispatch and designed in a hotel spirit with massive counters. In front of the counters is a lounge zone intended for short meetings, next to a fully equipped representative bar. Deeper into the space, various dining settings are arranged, each thematically and differently furnished, referencing restaurant interiors. Opposite is a space with professional kitchen equipment, also divided into themed sections. The showroom zones are emphasized not only by furniture but also with lighting, locally lowered ceilings, and specially designed hanging steel and wire elements as extensions of furniture. During the design, it was decided that most of the steel support grid would remain visible, along with the reinforced concrete mezzanine. This led the client out of their comfort zone toward a completely different display and sales concept than previous showrooms. Other structural elements, such as walls and steel columns, are clad in panel materials bearing the company logo, subtly following the brand's colors. Across the showroom, dynamic furniture elements dominate each zone: reception counters, a bar with a semi-circular mesh structure above it, sofas and armchairs, and a central planter with accompanying display shelves. In contrast to the lighting and forms that define the showroom functionally, the interior features the brand colors and Fimas logo. Among the colors, the most challenging to incorporate was red — used sparingly in each zone to accentuate a form or add visual energy. The space is enriched with plants, including a central massive planter that horizontally divides the showroom between areas for appliances and kitchen elements, and areas for smaller inventory. The goal of the interior was for the designed space to support the content being exhibited (equipment and inventory), while also being able to stand independently as a spatial composition — conveying constant dynamism through form, color, and light.
